Blue light is one of the colors emitted on the light spectrum, and while it can serve to boost alertness, help memory, increase mood, and improve attention spans, blue light often gets a bad rap because some of its primary sources are phones, tablets, computers, and TVs. And despite all of those great qualities listed before, too much of a good thing is a bad thing, and blue light in excess can be very harmful, especially when it comes to sleep quality and circadian rhythm before bed.
